Pet Laboratory Testing

Kirkwood Animal Hospital has the ability to run any diagnostic test available to veterinarians today.

We use a combination of our own laboratory equipment, as well as private outside labs and a network of university diagnostic and research centers thought out the country.

Because of the number of diagnostic tests we run daily, our outside lab picks up samples 3 times a day. We often have results by that afternoon accessed with an internet connection and placed directly into your pet’s record.

We also use the microscope for examining urine sediment, blood samples, and cellular examination, including cancer.
